National Society Sons of the American Revolution Military & War Service AWARDS

The following are members that have been awarded the Military Service  and  several have received the War Service Medal these are awarded to those who served the in military in service to their country (Honored to be able to post their service and their award photo's 

President Jack Currier who was elected and sworn in effective 1 June 2022 as the New President of the Idaho Society SAR was given the honors of awarding his son member of the US Army 82nd Airborne Staff Sargent Nathan Currier who is also a  member of the Idaho Society Sons of the American Revolution, the  "Military Service Medal:"

22 January 2022 Idaho Society SAR presented to John J Jones who passed away in 2008 the following Medals and Certificates for War Service, Korea, and 2 Tours in Vietnam. John's son Jesse Jones was presented these by Secretary Jack Currier

SAR Law Enforcement Medal was awarded to Corporal Kevin Holtry.

On 11 November 2016 Corp. Holtry was Wounded in the line of duty.

The Idaho Society has been awarded the Admiral William R. Furlong Award for the presentation of Sons of the American Revolution Flag Certificate to:

At the National Sons of the American Revolution in Houston, Texas, the Idaho Society was awarded the Kentucky Cup for achieving the largest percentage of new society members.

We were also awarded a participation certificate for supporting and submitting a candidate to the Arthur M. King Eagle Scout Scholarship Competition.
